What We Do
Whether you need a complete demo and new door or just a cracked pane replaced, Premier Glass handles it. One call, one crew, one owner on every job.
Complete removal of your existing door frame and hardware, followed by a new door and frame installation. Entry doors, patio doors, French doors — full scope from demo to finish.
Full removal of old window frames and installation of new windows. We handle the demo, framing prep, new window installation, and trim — one crew, one visit.
Replacement glass panels for existing sliding patio door frames, or complete new sliding door system installation if the frame is damaged or outdated.
Decorative glass insert replacement for front entry doors — clear, frosted, textured, and leaded glass options. Replace the glass without replacing the door.
Single-pane and double-pane (IGU) window glass replacement. We replace the glass without removing the frame in most cases — the cost-effective fix for cracked or broken panes.
Failed IGU seal replacement — the correct solution for fogged or condensation-filled double-pane windows. No full window replacement required in most cases.
Most glass companies only replace the glass. Premier Glass goes further. When your door frame is rotted, your window frame is warped, or you simply want to upgrade to a new door or window system entirely, we handle the complete job — demolition of the old unit, frame prep, new installation, and trim. No subcontractors. No handoffs. Chris or Kaleb is on-site from demo to finish.
We serve homeowners throughout Oakland County — including Highland, Milford, Waterford, Novi, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, and Rochester Hills — and Livingston County, including Brighton, Howell, Hartland, and South Lyon. Chris handles Oakland County; Kaleb handles Livingston County. You'll deal directly with an owner on every job.
Broken, fogged, or cracked window glass doesn't always mean you need a full window replacement. In most cases, Premier Glass can replace just the glass unit — saving you hundreds of dollars compared to a full window replacement while restoring your window's appearance and energy performance.
During your measure appointment, we assess the frame condition and give you a clear recommendation. If the frame is solid, glass-only is the right call. If it's compromised, we'll tell you that too — and give you pricing for both options so you can make an informed decision.
Fogging between window panes is one of the most common calls we receive from Michigan homeowners. It happens when the factory seal on a double-pane insulated glass unit (IGU) fails — allowing moisture to enter the space between the panes. Once the seal fails, the fogging cannot be cleaned from the inside.
The solution is IGU replacement — not full window replacement. We remove the failed glass unit from your existing frame, order a new IGU to the exact specification, and install it. The result looks and performs like a new window at a fraction of the cost. Most IGU replacements are completed in a single visit.
Sliding patio door glass is a common replacement need — whether from impact damage, seal failure, or upgrading to energy-efficient glass. Premier Glass replaces the glass panel in your existing patio door frame without requiring a full door replacement in most cases.
If your patio door frame is damaged, outdated, or you want to upgrade to a new sliding door system, we handle complete door installations as well — full demo of the old door and frame, new door installation, and trim. We'll assess your existing door during the measure appointment and recommend the most cost-effective approach.
Michigan's climate — with cold winters and warm summers — makes energy-efficient glass a smart investment. When replacing window glass or patio door panels, upgrading to Low-E (low-emissivity) insulated glass units improves your home's thermal performance without replacing frames or doing major renovation work.
Low-E glass has a microscopically thin coating that reflects heat while allowing natural light to pass through. In winter, it keeps heat inside. In summer, it reduces solar heat gain. Most replacement IGUs we install include Low-E coating as standard — ask about your options during the quote visit.
